On October 5, 2017, the Food Packaging Forum (FPF) held its fifth annual workshop in Zurich, Switzerland, focusing on “Scientific challenges in the risk assessment of food contact materials.

Dr. Marco Zhong, Director of the National Reference Laboratory for Food Contact Materials, Guangdong, China, focused on the reform of the food contact materials (FCMs) legislation in China and addressed challenges for compliance and enforcement (FPF reported).
