In July 2018, BizNGO published a guide to buying foodservice products that are free of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), along with a fact sheet explaining the hazards of PFAS. The recommendations for buying PFAS-free food ware are accompanied by a fact sheet on PFAS-free compostable food ware and tables detailing alternative products and alternative coatings.
BizNGO is a “unique collaboration of business and NGO leaders who are creating a roadmap to the widespread use of safer chemicals and sustainable materials.”
